Brazilian tan lines (marquinha) are a beauty tradition from Brazil where intentional tan lines are created using tape or stickers in bikini shapes. The result mimics the look of naturally tanning at the beach in a bikini — giving you defined, flattering lines that accentuate your figure. It's considered a sign of beauty and confidence in Brazilian culture.

Your Brazilian tan lines typically last 7–10 days with proper care. The tan will gradually fade evenly. To extend the life of your tan, moisturize daily, avoid harsh exfoliants, and pat dry after showering rather than rubbing.

Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment and shave/wax at least 12 hours prior. Come with clean, dry skin — no lotions, oils, deodorant, or perfume. Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment. We'll walk you through everything during booking confirmation.

UV tanning is generally not recommended during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor before booking.

Wear loose, dark clothing — think flowy dresses, baggy sweats, or anything that won't cling to your skin. Avoid bras with tight bands and tight waistbands for at least 8 hours after your session. We provide disposable undergarments if needed.

Regular tanning gives you an even, all-over tan. Brazilian tan lines take it a step further — precision tape is applied to your skin before your UV session, creating defined bikini lines where the tape blocks the light. The result is a natural, "just got back from the beach" look with beautiful contrast. It's tanning elevated to an art form.
